The Corbieres vineyard (Castelmaure, Aude)

Situated half way between the Massif Central and the Pyrénées, the Corbières massif remains largely subject to maritime influences.
Its great geological diversity includes no less than eleven different soil types.
The vineyard itself consists in a landscape of terraces on stony, poor ground where the Syrah and Grenache grape varieties make up spicy, intensely red wines, with reflect the typical scents of the garrigue and the genuine characteristics of the local soils.
