Note that roots and tubers have a high water, low protein, and low lipid content and are mainly comprised of carbohydrates. They are hence quite energetic.
Note also that cooking techniques may greatly change food composition, chips and fries for instance presenting high caloric and lipid contents.
Tapioca finally is a concentrate of carbohydrates.
